How to Develop Activities & Project Indicators

All projects will have activities of some sort. These of course will vary depending on the type of project you have, but typically, activities are a series of interventions that move the project along a planned path towards the project goal. If activities are not carefully planned, they could end up being a random set of interventions that have no strategy or reason for being implemented. If we develop activities that are inter-linked and logical, it is likely that the combination of different activities will have greater impact than those implemented in isolation. Developing effective project activities and indicators are a necessary element not just for good funding proposals, but also for reporting back to donors.
